The current transformer is a kind of instrument transformer. Structurally, it is like a transformer with one or two windings and a special magnetic path. In principle, it is based on the principle of electromagnetic conversion and the one or two potential follows the number of turns proportional to the number of turns. Generally speaking, a current transformer is a small current that turns a high current at a high potential into a low potential.
